Description	A rare benign primary endocardial tumour characterised macroscopically by its small size and highly papillar pedunculated appearance. The tumour is characterised histologically as avascular and presents with a single layer of endothelium. It is usually asymptomatic, however, cardiac or neurological symptoms due to ischaemia or thromboembolic complications (such as syncope, transient ischaemia, myocardial infarction or stroke) may be observed. The cardiac valves especially the aortic valve are commonly affected.
